Life as an actuary: What it's like to practice
When considering a profession, it's often somewhat like being on a game show or searching for the great Oz—you may do a lot of wondering about what's behind the curtain. If you're considering becoming an actuary, you may wonder what kinds of things an actuary does in a normal day.
To help answer this question, some of today's actuaries have agreed to share a day in their life – some in the form of a mock Outlook calendar entry, otherwise in a journal-style. Check back regularly, as new entries are always being added.
